Hoping you all can help me with this one !!
Since I started working my feet and ankles have been swollen and sore - not uncomfortable but sore as in it hurts like H E double hockey sticks to put any weight on my feet - my right foot is the worst, it feels like I have a lump under the skin of my heel, just where it joins the instep. Des reckons he can feel a lump but I can't.
Resting them doesn't really help much as they stiffen up and I can barely walk, however after hobbling around for a while it does ease up a little, at least my feet can bend at the ankles again LOL.
When I try to rest I get the most intense pains in my feet, ankles and lately lower calfs. It is not an all over ache and I think it feels like the nerves are being eloctrocuted (it is such fun  ) it gets bad enough to wake me from a sound sleep.
I bought new shoes recently, hikers boots in real leather with padded tops around the ankles, padded soles - heck even the 'tongue' is padded. These are darn good quality and I thought the $100 was worth it if it stopped my feet from killing me but no such luck.
I have been wearing my old comfortable sneakers the last 2 days and while the aching is not so bad the 'heel' pain is still very intense and I am getting sick of hobbling around
I personally feel it is probably just I'm taking a lot longer t get used to working than I had planned, then again I have just finished my 8th straight shift with 2 more to go b4 I have a day off.
Course Des likes t think it is a symptom that something is wrong with my diabetes, talk about a worry wort LOL
