Black Eye Question!

Kim, I was wondering if you could tell me how long my eye will be sooooo ugly for?!? I banged it on the wall Monday morning and gave myself a black eye. It looks even worse today!:(

And I can't shake this headache!:headache: My mom wants me to go to the DR but I don't think they will be able to do anything but tell me to put ice on it which I'm doing already.

Michelle, it will pretty much be like any bruise. Sore & looks yucky for a while. :hugs2: A headache is pretty understandable. If it doesn't get any better or if you have any changes in vision or have nausea & vomiting, call the MD right away. If you still have a headache in the a.m., call your Doctor's office & see what they would recommend. :yup: They might even give you a small RX of some stronger pain pills. :hmm2:

The bruise should start turning yellow in around another two days and then should be pretty much cleared up in a week.
